Fight Night 1 - The Return + Fighter Announcements!
Kazamir Dorokhov vs Wesley Carlos set to headline Fight Night 1!
After 2 years out of the octagon, the FFEI have brought back the iconic fight nights. We will see the return of some former FFEI athletes, UFC athletes and new fighters who have signed with us in recent days. The main event has caught the eyes of many due to the magnitude of the fight. Dorokhov vs Carlos was a fight the fans wanted ever since Wesley Carlos joined in 2020. Dorokhov at the time was the undefeated Welterweight champion who seemed unstoppable. When Carlos joined the FFEI, this gave the fans hope that maybe a new Welterweight champion could be crowned but it was never to be until now. The fight will take place at Madison Square Garden in a 5 round championship bout.
We have four new exciting athletes to announce as FFEI athletes! These heavyweights will be available to compete tomorrow night at Fight Night 1 but nothing is confirmed yet. The FFEI are also still in negotiations with a few Welterweights to fight at Fight Night 1. Chris Kelly is looking for an opponent and ideally wants to fight a former UFC fighter. Kelly named Nick Diaz as a possible opponent since he's a free agent and would be a good matchup for Kelly. Nate Diaz will also be available after he fights Khamzhat Chimaev at UFC 279. It is expected that the FFEI will approach Nate with a big money contract to attract him to this company.
Possible opponents for the newly signed heavyweights are Asoma Cannonier, Michael Briggs, Jiang Suzuki and Andrew Van Buren. After recent reports, a FFEI legend Joe Green is retiring from the sport and will not be competing in the Fight Night return. There's no new reports and the situation with Isaac Frost and Andre Bishop. They are both still contracted under FFEI but haven't been involved in any fight negotiations for Fight Night.
